Puzzle — Little Play Square
What's on the screen
4 pieces, and a frame with a faint guide picture showing in it. The picture is drawn from 6 kinds: a house and the sun, a little bird and a tree, a boat and the sea, a rainbow and flowers, a field of flowers, and mountains and a river.
How to play
Pick a piece up and carry it to the frame. The guide picture is showing, so you can see where each one goes while you carry it.
This game sits in Games for ages 3 and 4. The age is only a guide, so children older than that and children younger than that are just as welcome to play it.
What this game doesn't have
- Time limits and scoresThere is no countdown, no score and no run of days in a row.
- Game overThere is no state that stops a child from going on. You can stop the moment interest runs out.
- Ads and purchasesNothing can be pressed by mistake that carries a child off to another site.
- Text fieldsNo name and no email address is ever asked for. There is no sign-up either.
How to start
Just open Little Play Square and pick the Puzzle picture on the home screen. Once it has finished loading, it starts up the same way in places with no signal. Sound is switched with the speaker mark on the home screen (it steps through normal, off and quiet, so the first press turns it off).
More from Games for ages 3 and 4
- Size order — The same picture comes in three sizes. Children drag them onto three stands in order of size — biggest first or smallest first, either way counts. Nothing is turned away: any piece sits on any stand, and when the row is not in order the three simply wobble and wait.
- Find the match — Turn the cards over and gather two with the same picture. You may turn them over again as often as you like.
- Shadow match — Look only at the pale grey shadow and pick the picture of the same shape from three. You can choose again as often as you like.
