Stack blocks — Little Play Square
What's on the screen
5 blocks sit at the bottom in 2 rows, with 3 block stands beside them (a 1-square block, a long plank and a triangular roof). On a low screen the long plank's stand does not appear. There is no model shape and no finished picture.
How to play
Pick a block up and carry it anywhere you like to stack it. It can be put down again as often as you want. Pressing a block stand adds 1 more piece of that shape, so even when carrying is hard, pressing alone builds the stack up. Press the long plank and then the triangular roof, and a house shape goes up from pressing alone.
This game sits in Games for 2-year-olds. The age is only a guide, so children older than that and children younger than that are just as welcome to play it.
What this game doesn't have
- Time limits and scoresThere is no countdown, no score and no run of days in a row.
- Game overThere is no state that stops a child from going on. You can stop the moment interest runs out.
- Ads and purchasesNothing can be pressed by mistake that carries a child off to another site.
- Text fieldsNo name and no email address is ever asked for. There is no sign-up either.
How to start
Just open Little Play Square and pick the Stack blocks picture on the home screen. Once it has finished loading, it starts up the same way in places with no signal. Sound is switched with the speaker mark on the home screen (it steps through normal, off and quiet, so the first press turns it off).
More from Games for 2-year-olds
- Color blending — Lay a paint ball on another and let go, and they mix into one bigger ball of a different color. Press the mixed ball and it comes apart again, so any pair can be tried as often as you like. There is no right answer and no mistake.
- Fit the shapes — Carry the circle, triangle and square to the hole of the same shape. Coming near the hole is enough; nothing has to line up exactly.
- Catch the fruit — Touch anywhere on the screen and the basket moves there. Fruit that is not caught never costs anything.
