What children this age do on the screen
This band brings in games about carrying: taking a shape to the hole that fits, sorting things into the box with the matching picture, stacking blocks anywhere you like. Games that are only about pressing are mixed in too, like choosing colors and catching fish.
A long carry often ends with the finger slipping off, so the holes and the boxes take in a piece that has come near. Nothing has to be laid exactly on top.
- Mistakes leave nothingAnything put in the wrong box or hole drifts gently back to where it was. No points are taken away and nothing tells you to try again.
- You can stop halfwayNothing is built so that a game has to be finished before the next one opens.
- Some games have no answerOne of them is about stacking: the way it is stacked and how high are both free, and it never comes to an end.
- A slipped finger is fineIf the finger comes off during a carry, the piece is either left where it is or goes back to where it started.
Games for 2-year-olds (8)
All of them sit in the same collection of mini-games. You start by picking a picture on the home screen, and games other than the 8 listed here are lined up on that same screen.
- Touch colors
- Pick the color that matches the example. Pressing another color brings no scolding sound and no cross mark.
- Water the flowers
- Press the pot and water falls; wait a little and it goes from sprout to bud to flower. Nothing ever withers.
- Stack blocks
- Carry the blocks anywhere you like and stack them, and tap the block stand for one more. There is no finished shape and no model, so you can stop wherever you please.
- Fit the shapes
- Carry the circle, triangle and square to the hole of the same shape. Coming near the hole is enough; nothing has to line up exactly.
- Catch the fruit
- Touch anywhere on the screen and the basket moves there. Fruit that is not caught never costs anything.
- Fishing
- A swimming fish is reeled up when a finger meets it. There is no time limit, and it can go on for as many fish as you like.
- Hide and seek
- Find the ears peeking above a bush and press them, and a fox shows its face. The other bushes sway and answer with a sound too.
- Tidy up
- Carry the scattered things to the box whose picture matches. Put one in the wrong box and it simply goes back where it was.
