You step into a book of fairy tales and travel on, bringing color back to stories that ink has drained. Scenes from well-known fairy tales such as Cinderella join up side by side, and when the color comes back, the characters start to move and the story goes on.
Getting started
- Open itJust open it in the browser. Nothing to install and no account to create.
- Choose a storyThe first time, the first story starts straight away. Taking a story to the end opens the next story on the bookshelf. Any open story can be chosen from the bookshelf again and again.
- Flick your companionsPull back a companion resting on the left of the screen with a finger and let go: it flies off the opposite way, and color comes back wherever it passes.
What is on the screen
A long story path slowly scrolls to the right. A strip at the bottom shows the companions' cards and the score, and narration subtitles appear at the top. The characters speak in bubbles above their heads, and the story moves on without tapping. There is no flashing and no screen shaking.
What fingers do
Pulling back a companion and letting go is all it takes. Each companion has its own brush width and way of flying, and painting a lot brings out that companion's special move. At the high points of a story the screen stops, and bringing color back to the characters or objects lets it go on. Against the boss, watch for the signal and hit at the right moment. Being hit by an enemy's pellets only means a short rest - there is no losing and no game over.
