Fishing — Little Play Square
What's on the screen
Fish in 5 colors swim about in the water. No more than 4 are out at the same time.
How to play
When a finger meets a fish, it is reeled up. There is no time limit, and it can go on for as many fish as you like.
This game sits in Games for 2-year-olds. The age is only a guide, so children older than that and children younger than that are just as welcome to play it.
What this game doesn't have
- Time limits and scoresThere is no countdown, no score and no run of days in a row.
- Game overThere is no state that stops a child from going on. You can stop the moment interest runs out.
- Ads and purchasesNothing can be pressed by mistake that carries a child off to another site.
- Text fieldsNo name and no email address is ever asked for. There is no sign-up either.
How to start
Just open Little Play Square and pick the Fishing picture on the home screen. Once it has finished loading, it starts up the same way in places with no signal. Sound is switched with the speaker mark on the home screen (it steps through normal, off and quiet, so the first press turns it off).
More from Games for 2-year-olds
- Hide and seek — Find the ears peeking above a bush and press them, and a fox shows its face. The other bushes sway and answer with a sound too.
- Tidy up — Carry the scattered things to the box whose picture matches. Put one in the wrong box and it simply goes back where it was.
- Mirror drawing — Draw on one side of the fold down the middle of a white page and the same line appears on the other side, like a mirror. Lift your fingers and wait a moment, and the picture folds shut, opens again and flies off as a butterfly. The page is blank again right away, and the next picture comes in another color.
