Water the flowers — Little Play Square
What's on the screen
3 flower pots stand in a row. The flower color is drawn from 5 colors and changes each time they bloom.
How to play
Press a pot and water falls on it; wait a little and it goes on from sprout to bud to flower. Once they have all bloomed, it starts again in a new color.
This game sits in Games for 2-year-olds. The age is only a guide, so children older than that and children younger than that are just as welcome to play it.
What this game doesn't have
- Time limits and scoresThere is no countdown, no score and no run of days in a row.
- Game overThere is no state that stops a child from going on. You can stop the moment interest runs out.
- Ads and purchasesNothing can be pressed by mistake that carries a child off to another site.
- Text fieldsNo name and no email address is ever asked for. There is no sign-up either.
How to start
Just open Little Play Square and pick the Water the flowers picture on the home screen. Once it has finished loading, it starts up the same way in places with no signal. Sound is switched with the speaker mark on the home screen (it steps through normal, off and quiet, so the first press turns it off).
More from Games for 2-year-olds
- Ball throwing — Sweep a finger anywhere on the screen and the ball flies off in an arc, in that direction and with that strength. If it drops into the basket, confetti bursts up; if it does not, it bounces on the floor and rolls back to where it started.
- Cutting board — Drag a finger in one stroke across a big vegetable and it splits in two along that line. The pieces that get small enough drop into the pot, and once they are all in, the pot bubbles and steams before the next vegetable appears.
- Water break — Press the pitcher and pull it down, and water flows out as far as it is tipped and collects in the glass. Just pressing and letting go pours a little too. Press the glass and let go, and an animal comes over to drink it empty. Letting it overflow is never a mistake.
